Electrical Foreman (Commercial / MEP Construction) Location: New Orleans, LA
Pay: $35–$40/hour + Overtime + Benefits

A growing MEP contractor in the New Orleans area is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead field operations on commercial construction projects. This is a confidential opportunity with a company expanding its electrical division and backlog across Louisiana.

This role is ideal for a hands-on electrical leader who can manage crews, coordinate with project teams, and ensure high-quality execution in the field.

Electrical Foreman Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial construction projects
• Coordinate daily field activities, manpower, and jobsite logistics
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within scope
• Manage installations of electrical systems , including power distribution, lighting, and controls
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades (HVAC, plumbing, MEP)
• Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with NEC and local codes
• Track progress and provide updates to project leadership

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical construction , with leadership or foreman experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installations
• Ability to lead crews and manage multiple priorities on active jobsites
• Experience with MEP coordination and multi-trade environments
• Familiarity with NEC codes and safety standards
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
